First Day of Kindergarten!

Today was the day! After visiting his classroom last night and dropping off his school supplies, Kane went straight to bed to be ready for his first day of school. When Steve and I woke Kane up this morning, his first question was "Is the bus here yet?" Kane was quite brave and took the day in stride. This made it much easier for his parents to be brave also! I asked him what his favorite part of the day was and his response was, "Rest time. I love my rest mat." So there you have it, Kane's day in a nutshell.

Here is Kane at his table. He is getting ready to color a picture of himself. He chose the black crayon and used it to color the whole thing. He is definitely a minimalist when it comes to adding color!
